Transform Compost Systems offers an intensive 3-day training course for compost facility operators in British Columbia. The course fully complies with the personnel training plans required by the Organic Matter Recycling Regulation (OMRR) and covers all topics, and more, proposed in the OMRR compost facility requirement guidelines.

The course provides a comprehensive understanding of

operational and technical,

chemical and physical,

environmental,

economic and business

 social and legal

issues related to large-scale composting of organic material. The course is hands-on training programs with practical exercises and a field trip.

The course will be taught by two instructors:

Dr. John Paul has been specializing in composting and organic waste management for more than 20 years. John has a thorough knowledge of the British Columbian, Canadian and international compost industry, and he combines solid academic competence with hands-on experience from numerous successful projects and roots in the agricultural industry.

Dr. Dieter Geesing has more than 15 years of experience as lecturer and researcher for universities in the US and Europe, and as lead expert for international agencies in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.
