Transform Compost Systems offers an intensive 3-day training course for compost facility operators in British Columbia. The course fully complies with the personnel training plans required by the Organic Matter Recycling Regulation (OMRR) and covers all topics, and more, proposed in the OMRR compost facility requirement guidelines. The course provides a comprehensive understanding of operational and technical, chemical and physical, environmental, economic and business social and legal issues related to large-scale composting of organic material. The course is hands-on training programs with practical exercises and a field trip. The accompanying manual is included in the course fee, and will be also available from us, or through JG Press, the great people that publish the Biocylce magazine.
The course will be taught by Dr. John Paul. John
has been specializing in composting and organic waste management
for more than 20 years. John has a thorough knowledge of the British Columbian,
Canadian and international compost industry, and he combines solid academic
competence with hands-on experience from numerous successful projects
